Neo-Classical Style

Neo-Classical style is an artistic and architectural movement that emerged in the 18th century as a revival of classical aesthetics and principles from ancient Greece and Rome. It gained prominence as a reaction against the excesses and ornamentation of the preceding Rococo style. Neo-Classicism sought to reintroduce the order, symmetry, and clarity that characterized the art and architecture of antiquity.
